The Lab Technician Trainee will report to the Lab Supervisor in the Mill.

This position is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

What you will do :

• Perform routine and specialized chemical, quantitative and metallurgical test work
• Standardize chemical laboratory solutions
• Acquire a good understanding of the milling process
• Assist with production or environmental studies as required
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of all tools, equipment and work area

What you will bring :

• Graduate from Provincial Technical School course in Chemical Technology, from University in Chemistry, or an equivalent course of study
• Ability to perform job duties in a safe and responsible manner
• Ability to perform varied and technical tasks with a thorough knowledge of metallurgical and chemical principles as well as judgement are required
• Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
