Job description

Overview

The Maintenance Manager contributes to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by overseeing the maintenance operations at our highly automated facility in Lethbridge. The role manages a team of both professional direct reports and maintenance technicians, leading the development, growth, and capabilities of the maintenance department.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient operations of the installation, maintenance, and modification of all equipment, machinery, and plant infrastructure.
  • Lead continuous technical improvement of the facility to achieve performance targets and execute capital projects.
  • Manage maintenance personnel through coaching, development, and training; improve communication and engagement to optimize productivity of teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards, including Operations, Quality, Safety, Human Resources, Contractors, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (mechanical, electrical, automation), or a post-secondary designation of equivalent relevance.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing / production environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with project management, ability to manage predictive maintenance programs and various computer software programs.
