Webistry is a data-centric internet marketing agency that specializes in PPC & Social Advertising, Conversion Rate Optimization and Web Design. We are a team of driven professionals consisting of Paid Media Specialists, Conversion Designers, Content Creators, Web Developers, Account Specialists and CRO Specialists.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Content Creator for a contract role on a project basis, roughly 10 hours per week.

This position offers the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and project success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative storytelling and an eye for social media trends, particularly in short video formats.

In this role, you will collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality content, ensuring all work aligns with brand standards and captivates audiences.

You’ll play a key role in :

  • Production : Supporting in-studio and on-site shoots.
  • Scripting and Storytelling : Crafting engaging narratives for social content.
  • Post-Production : Editing and polishing short-format videos to meet social media standards.
  • Directing Creators : Guiding creators to produce impactful raw assets that align with project goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and create static and animated banners for digital platforms.
  • Edit short-form videos optimized for social media advertisements.
  • Perform post-production tasks using raw assets from creators or clients.
  • Collaborate with creators to direct the production of high-quality raw assets.
  • Stay tuned to the latest social media trends, particularly short video formats, and implement them in your work.
  • Create and source original and stock photo / video assets to enhance content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
  • Prepare and present visual mood boards through professional decks.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and client expectations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Requirements :

  • A portfolio showcasing video editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and advertising requirements.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English (French is a plus).
  • Passion for staying current with trends in social media and content creation.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and advertising principles.
