Seasonal Forklift Operator / Truck Loader
Job Description :
The Forklift Operator / Truck Loader is responsible for transporting all finished goods from the assembly line to the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities :
- Transports packaged ice from the bagging room and stacks ice in the warehouse after bundling it into pallets.
- Audits inventory to ensure accurate loading / unloading of stock shipped and received.
- Support dispatch duties during high volume season.
- Contribute to process improvements, procedures, and policies.
- Cleans maintenance area to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
- Displays and supports safe dock practices and implements them in conjunction with drivers.
Additional duties may be assigned.
Salary Range : $21 / hour
Candidate Qualifications :
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Must have a high school diploma and 3-5 years experience required.
- Must hold and maintain Fork Lift certification / license.
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to work in a cold environment.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
