Apex Aluminum is a state-of-the‑art aluminum extrusion factory located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. With a 170,000 square foot aluminum extrusion facility and some of the most modern equipment in its industry, Apex can offer custom extrusions, mill finish aluminum and anodized aluminum to satisfy the most demanding customer and all architectural needs.

We have an exciting opportunity for anOverhead Crane Operatorto join our Anodizing team in Langley, BC.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.

Shift : 5 : 30pm - 4 : 00am, Mon to Thursday (Rotating)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Overseeing four computer-controlled cranes
• Actions will be resetting any faults that occur
• Homing crane through touch screen panel
• Operating the crane in manual with remote when required
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Other duties, as assigned

Knowledge / Experience and Skills :

Be willing to work overtime when required

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Comfortable working around chemicals (PPE provided)

No facial hair as a respirator is required to be worn on the job (respirator is a WorkSafe BC requirement)
