Director of Data Management & Analytics – Frontier Dental CA, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
We are seeking a hands‑on leader to shape the future of our dental supply distribution through data‑driven innovation. The successful candidate will oversee our data strategy, data warehouse, AI / ML integration, and team management to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Base Pay Range
$170,000.00 / yr – $200,000.00 / yr
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead a team of data analysts and engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with C‑level executives to identify data‑driven opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Data Infrastructure Development
Oversee design and implementation of a scalable data warehouse architecture.Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all systems.Drive adoption of modern data technologies and best practices.AI / ML Integration
Spearhead integration of AI / ML solutions to optimize supply chain, inventory, and customer experience.Develop predictive models to forecast demand and market trends.Implement data‑driven decision‑making processes across the organization.Team Management
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑performing data team.Set clear goals and KPIs aligned with business objectives.Foster collaboration between data teams and other departments.Technical Skills & Experience
10+ years in data science, analytics, or related fields, with 5+ years in leadership roles.Proven track record of implementing data strategies in fast‑growing organizations.Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern data stack technologies.Strong background in data security, governance, and AI / ML applications for business optimization.Experience with ERP systems and supply‑chain analytics.Leadership & Communication
Exceptional communication skills, translating complex data concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.Strategic thinker aligning data initiatives with business goals.Success managing geographically distributed, cross‑time‑zone teams with inclusive collaboration.Track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.Experience scaling mid‑size companies to enterprise scale with robust governance.Technical Knowledge
Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.Familiarity with data visualization tools and BI platforms.Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.Preferred Qualifications
