CIVIL DRAFT TECHNOLOGIST

Key Responsibilities

• Work with engineers, technologists, and project managers to develop civil engineering and geotechnical drawings.
• Duties may involve drafting site plans, earthworks, structures, plans / profiles, and details.
• Work closely and communicate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop complete drawing packages.
• Projects may involve earthworks, dams, canals, pipelines, and drainage systems, focusing on geotechnical aspects.
• Opportunity to support our materials testing lab for additional hands‑on experience.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years’ experience, though consideration will be given to suitable intermediate level (5–10 years’ experience) candidates.
• Be registered or be eligible for registration with ASET.
• Experience / proficiency in 2D AutoCAD.
• Experience with Civil 3D would be an asset.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, with a strong work ethic and natural enthusiasm.
• Possess excellent verbal communication skills and can work in a team environment.
