We are seeking a confident Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) with a solid acute care nursing leadership background to join our team in Merritt, B.C. This is a relief full-time position working rotating days from 07 : 00 to 17 : 00.

What will you work on?

The PCC is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day operations and quality patient care. This position supports the seamless movement of patients through the healthcare system and in accessing appropriate resources.

The PCC supervises and serves as a role model and a resource to staff for clinical decision-making, assessments, and family education. It involves reviewing, analyzing, and making recommendations on policies, procedures, staffing levels, and quality improvement initiatives. The role also includes liaising with the interdisciplinary team for resource management and staff educational planning.
