The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineering Manager to lead our talented team in designing and developing automation systems for industrial processing equipment.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of our controls strategy driving technical innovation, guiding system design and implementation, and developing a high-performing, engaged team.

What You’ll Do
Provides visionary leadership and mentorship for a team of Controls Engineers, driving high performance, collaboration, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement.Oversee full lifecycle controls projects : design, programming, testing, and commissioningDevelop and implement team goals, KPIs, and long-term strategies aligned with company growthManage project timelines, priorities, and resources to ensure successful deliveryAnticipates staffing and skill needs to support company growth, ensuring teams are aligned and equipped for evolving project demands.Guide PLC and HMI design using Allen-Bradley (CompactLogix, ControlLogix) and Beckhoff TwinCAT platformsPartner with business development and product teams to execute new product roadmapsDrive continuous improvement standardizing processes, increasing efficiency, and enhancing code qualityStay current on automation trends and technologies to keep Parmerit at the forefront of innovationWhat You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field5+ years in a leadership or managerial role within industrial automation or manufacturingStrong knowledge of control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, field devices)Experience programming and troubleshooting robotics (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, etc.)Proven ability to manage complex projects balancing scope, quality, and deadlinesExcellent people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of safety and compliance standards (NFPA 79, IEC 61131, ISO 13849, CSA, UL, CE)Willingness to travel occasionally for installations and commissioningWhy Join Parmerit / Adescor

The expected base salary range for this position is $98,000 to $122,000 per year.
Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, education, and alignment with the responsibilities of the position.
