Job Description

A full-service tooling provider of progressive transfer and tandem dies. Specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel and complex stamping dies.

Responsibilities include :

Designing progressive, transfer and line dies
Interacting with customers regarding design reviews and follow-up
Providing technical support to machining / tryout / build throughout the die manufacturing process
Maintaining documentation records of complete die design
Creating process layouts for part data
Develop trim lines / morph surfaces / troubleshoot

Qualifications :

3-5 years tool design experience

Solid background in metal stamping, an asset

Skills in 3D design and Solid Modelling

AutoForm experience, an asset

ProE / Creo 3.0 experience required

NX 10.0 experience, an asset

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
