AutoCAD Drafter

Adecco is currently hiring an AutoCAD Drafter for a temporary, long-term contract with our client based in Saskatoon, SK.
In this intermediate-level drafting role, you will work independently to maintain, update, and standardize a large portfolio of facility drawings and technical documentation. You should have strong AutoCAD skills, solid drafting experience in construction or engineering environments, and is comfortable managing tasks with minimal supervision.
**Please note: candidates must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status clearance to be considered for this role

• Pay rate: $25-$28/hour
  
• Location: Saskatoon, SK
  
• Job type: Full-time | Temporary Contract (2 years)
  
• Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pm
  

Responsibilities:

• Update and modify AutoCAD drawings, primarily floor plans and building layouts
  
• Review existing drawings and documentation for accuracy and compliance with current standards
  
• Correct outdated or inaccurate technical drawings identified by project managers and engineers
  
• Confirm technical details with stakeholders including engineers, project managers, and site teams
  
• Categorize, classify, and organize CAD drawings and related documentation
  
• Maintain consistency and standardization across historical and current CAD files
  
• Troubleshoot AutoCAD setups and workflows independently
  
• Support construction and facility projects across correctional and parole sites
  

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  
• 3-5 years of relevant drafting experience
  
• Strong intermediate AutoCAD proficiency (CAD Level 2 equivalent)
  
• Experience drafting in an engineering or construction environment
  
• Ability to review, modify, and update construction or design drawings
  
• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Database management or document control experience
  
• Must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status clearance:Reliability status in Canada is the baseline personnel security screening required for federal government employees and contractors to access Protected A or B information, assets, or work sites. It involves a 5-year background check covering criminal records, education, and employment. It is valid for 10 years.
