Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers.
• Pack orders with attention to detail, distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes.
• Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality—no damaged products or sub‑freshness.
• Document and label all orders correctly, interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
• Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space‑efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
• Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, offering service and supporting issue resolution.
• Adhere strictly to safety and food hygiene standards : maintain a clean, hygienic work area; immediately clean up spills and debris; ensure totes are clean and void of debris before packing.
• Operate material‑handling equipment safely, completing pre‑inspection checks before use.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, safety, working conditions, and quality standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility in completing / adapting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.
