POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to an AVP, Program Director, the Senior Manager, Organization Change Management would be responsible for applying the IGM Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodology throughout the entire lifecycle of a projects or programs.
They would provide an integrative lens to the change they manage.
In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring the overall success of change management for the program, which contains sub-programs and projects with a high composite of risk.
Your proven experience of understanding the business impact and value to the organization, delivering complex change and ensuring the change is sustainable is what sets you apart.
The overall success of the program is measured by the realization of business value, client / stakeholder satisfaction, and the quality of results.
As a recognized leader, you will provide leadership and direction to Business Sponsors in guiding them through the change process.
Reporting to an AVP, Program Director, the Senior Manager, Organization Change Management will be responsible for leading the development and execution of change management on multiple projects and programs with significant impact to the organization and multi-year budgets in the range of $1-5M.
In this role, you will be accountable for leading project teams and stakeholders throughout the change management lifecycle.
Ensuring good change management practices are followed, sustained, and expected benefits are achieved.
As a Senior Manager, Organization Change Management, you will provide leadership and direction to Business Sponsors and delivery stakeholders while guiding them through the organizational change processes and tactics.
You will fulfill your role by applying the EPMO OCM Practice standards and templates, industry standard guidelines and your OCM experience in order to assess, plan, execute and sustain changes associated with the EPMO program and project initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensures the IGM OCM methodology and standards are appropriately applied on projects and programs
Works with a vast array of stakeholders, including business and technology executives and delivery teams in order to assess change impacts, create and execute OCM Plans
Develops OCM strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training
Actively works with Project / Program Managers to ensure a cohesive integration of change management activities within the overall project plan(s)
Leads and implements change initiatives related to business processes and technologies
Identifies and manages anticipated resistance through risk mitigation tactics and ensure reinforcement plans are in place
Promotes and educates to help raise change management culture and awareness within the organization
Facilitates meetings with executives and business leads to develop change adoption plans
Provides direct OCM support and coaching to project teams as they help their teams through transitions
Stays ahead of key developments in the industry and among competitors to elevate the IGM EPMO change management discipline and delivery capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8 years experience in change management working collaboratively as part of cross functional team
Proven experience in delivering effective change management on complex projects involving multiple departments, vendors, external partners in the delivery of solutions requiring integration of multiple tools and technologies
Ability to oversee multiple projects and excel in a complex and evolving portfolio. Demonstrates appropriate flexibility in all situations and will be comfortable with ambiguity, while pivoting from macro to micro issues, from shaping the strategy agenda through to the day-to-day
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the lifecycle
Problem Solving and root cause identification skills
Proven ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with business leaders, peers, clients and team will work transparently and cooperatively with cross-functional teams, effectively engaging all pertinent stakeholders, both internal and external
