About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading General Contracting firm in Canada, is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial function for the Ontario Business Unit.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will provide contractual, financial, and risk management support to pre-construction and project teams, as well as commercial assistance to senior operations management.
Duties include :
- Reviewing RFQ / RFP or bid / tender documentation
- Conducting Prime Contract reviews
- Ensuring compliance of submissions
- Assisting in the preparation of various agreements
- Liaising with Risk on security and insurance
About You
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of construction and / or commercial management experience, advanced knowledge of construction contract administration, strong negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of contract law.
