Job description

Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Packaging Associates to join our client's manufacturing team in Belleville, ON. In this role you will be responsible for supporting daily production operations by assisting the Converting, Printing, and Prepress teams to ensure products are packaged accurately, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. This role is hands-on and ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate : $18.60 / hr - $ 19.60 / hr
Location : Belleville, ON
Shift : Days - Monday to Friday 615am-230pm

Afternoons - Monday to Friday 215pm-1030pm

Midnights - Sunday to Thursday 1015pm-630am

straight shift, no rotation, Part time hours are also available

Responsibilities :

Assists senior Converting and Press personnel as directed

Monitors quality as required

Prepares packaging materials; stages various production consumables

Conducts and documents inspections and testing according to quality plans

Tracks production quantities and scrap; weighs all outputs

Discards scrap

Enters production data in computer and completes paperwork as required

Ensures product is wrapped and labelled correctly

Supports Prepress activities with supervised assistance in Prepress area as needed

Supports Converting and Printing department with supervised backup duties as required Assists in washup area as required

Transfers relevant information to the next shift as required

Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned, assists with PM activities

Performs general housekeeping duties, as required

Qualifications :

Must have a minimum of Gr 12 and provide proof

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Previous packaging experience is an asset

Must have safety shoes

Must be able to bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs.

Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
