Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Daycare Assistant Director located in Squamish, BC. The Daycare Assistant Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, developing and implementing curriculum, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and communicating with parents and guardians. The role also involves administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Experience in developing and implementing curriculum
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in early childhood education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Administrative skills including scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping
• Current BC ECE Registry certification
• Valid First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Clear CRC
• Experience working in a licensed childcare setting preferred
