Requirement

• Experience: Previous General Practice experience and familiarity with Best Practice software are highly desired.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Work Style: Strong prioritization skills and the ability to work autonomously when needed.

Work Conditions

• Shifts Available: Weekday afternoons (2pm–10pm or 4pm–10pm) and weekends (8am–3pm or 3pm–10pm).

Responsibilities

• Front-Desk Excellence: Welcome patients, manage phone inquiries, and book appointments.
• Administration: Process registrations, verify Medicare/insurance details, and manage medical records with strict confidentiality.
• Financial Tasks: Handle payments, invoicing, EFTPOS, Medicare billing, and batching.
• Clinical Support: Coordinate schedules for doctors and nurses and monitor the waiting room to ensure smooth patient flow.
