Accounting Clerk, Student Co-op
We’re looking for a passionate, driven and energetic student to join our team as an Accounting Clerk, Co-op located in our Head Office in the beautiful city of Guelph, ON.
This is a 4 or 8 month co-op opportunity beginning in September 2024.
Job Description
As the successful candidate you will support the Skyline Residential Accounting team in drafting and / or amending key processes and related documents, while performing accounting and clerical tasks related to our shared goal of creating a superior investment opportunity for our investors and providing accommodations of choice for our valued residents.
What we look for :
- A go getter with a thirst for learning that isn't afraid to take on challenges.
- Knowledge of accounting software (Simply, Accpac, QuickBooks, Yardi, etc).
- An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
- A team player with the ability to multi-task and stay detail oriented while providing support to the the team with day-to-day operations.
- A go getter - you don't wait for work to come your way and you always keep busy
- Someone that identifies with Skyline values and will act with PRIDE ( P rofessionalism, R espect, I ntegrity, D rive, and E fficiency).
- Enrolled in Post-Secondary Accounting Degree program with a co-op component to complete required.
