MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Technical Writer for one of BC’s largest Electrical and Utility providers.
Estimated contract duration : 6 months
Location : Remote*
Responsibilities :
- Act as an advisor and coach to senior management.
- Plan, research, write, and edit on senior-level, corporate communications products and reports, speeches and presentations.
- Coach and advise senior leadership and support their growth as communications leaders within their teams.
- Provide communications planning support and guidance to project teams.
- Lead portfolios of work on project teams for various departments beyond discreet assignments such as consultation processes and change management processes.
Requirements :
- A minimum 6 years of working experience as a writer.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Writing, Communication, Journalism or equivalent.
- Proven experience in developing internal technology communications.
- Ability to support strategy development communications effectively.
- Proficiency in creating and refining leadership reporting.
- Expertise in developing clear and concise technical communications.
- Strong ability to support technology-related communications across various platforms.
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the technology industry or related field, an asset.
- Note : Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally eligible to work in the country.
