JobSummary

Our Truck Service team iscomprised of nearly 3000 highly skilled technicians and spans coastto coast. With over 280 locations across the country TA TruckService has a solid foundation and a forwardthinking vision.

As aTruck Service DayCab Driver you will pick up and deliver customerstrailers that need repair as directed by Management in a timely andprofessional manner.

These are local trips so you will get homedaily. Our Drivers help ensure we are returning every traveler tothe road better than they came!

Inthis role you can expect to :

• Work in a fun trusting environment focused on providinggreat service where the expectations of the customer areexceeded
• Be responsible for all aspects ofpickup and delivery of customers trailers following all safetyrules and procedures
• Perform any other dutiesas requested by management
• Adhere to all FMCSAsafety and compliance regulations
• Adhere toall state and federal driving laws
• Perform / Document pre and post trip inspections and reportany defects found to management before operating thetruck

What wed like tosee :

• A dedicatedindividual who works well with others and is excited to be part ofour team!
• Good verbal and writtencommunication skills
• Must possess an activeCDL Class A drivers license and be able to meet federal commercialdriver qualification requirements including but not limited tobeing at least 21 years of age
• 2 years oftractor trailer driving experience required
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and workin a safe manner
• Must be able to work in aresultsoriented fastpaced environment as part of a team
• Must be a selfstarter and willing to take the initiativeable and willing to work without direct supervision
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekendsand some holidays in interior and exteriorconditions

Typical PhysicalDemands

In this role the teammember is regularly required to talk and hear. Standing walkingkneeling stooping bending over crouching crawling climbing andrepetitive use of legs are done occasionally.

The team member isoccasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and / or move heavyobjects. Specific vision abilities required by this job includeclose vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depthperception and ability to adjust focus.

WorkEnvironment
