Job descriptionDesign, develop, and maintain full stack solutions using modern frameworks and cloud technologies Lead and contribute to technical discovery, architecture exploration, and solution design Produce and maintain technical artifacts, diagrams, and documentation Implement features and enhancements that meet business and user needs Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Conduct and lead code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI / CD pipelines and automated deployments Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues Work closely with designers to deliver accessible, intuitive, and consistent user interfaces Advise architects and product owners on technical options and implementation strategies Support solution deployment, launch, and ongoing sustainment Contribute to reusable components and shared platform capabilities Mentor and onboard technical team members Follow Agile / Scrum methodologies, including dual-track development, within a collaborative team culture Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 7+ years of experience in API development with strong back-end architecture design, including security, performance, versioning, error handling, reliability, and data integrity 7+ years of experience applying user-centered design principles and collaborating with UX / UI designers 8+ years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer on large-scale Agile enterprise projects (teams of 15+ members) 7+ years of experience working with relational and NoSQL databases to deliver secure and scalable solutions 7+ years of experience working within Agile development teams Experience learning and adapting to unfamiliar technology stacks or new teams Experience modernizing or incrementally transforming legacy systems Experience with cloud-based and mobile application development Experience working in large national or global organizations Experience working in or supporting the public sector React, React Native TypeScript Azure App Services and cloud-based development GitHub Work is primarily remote; occasional in-person attendance in Edmonton may be required Travel time and expenses for required in-person attendance are not reimbursed Work must be performed within Canada Remote workers must supply their own equipment (computer, software, office setup) Office space and furnishings will be provided if in-person work is required Collaboration tools include Microsoft Teams (Zoom may be used occasionally) Criminal record check required upon request Enhanced security clearance may be required depending on assignment Eligibility for higher-level security clearances may be required during the contract Final engagement is contingent upon successful completion of all required clearances Qualifications – 10% Interview – 60% (minimum 60% required to proceed) Other Mandatory Requirements – 20% Mandatory training will be required upon onboarding (e.g., privacy, security, information management, workplace conduct) Interviews are anticipated to begin in late January 2026 (timeline subject to change) All required experience must be clearly documented in the resume under the role or project where it was obtained Each role / project must include dates in the format MMM / YYYY – MMM / YYYY Mid-Senior level Contract Information Technology Software Development

Base pay range
$95.00 / hr - $105.00 / hr

Contract Duration :
- Two (2) positions : up to 12 months
- One (1) position : up to 6 months
- Possible extensions up to 24 months
- Work Schedule : Full-time (7.25 hours / day)
