Job Title : Business Analyst (1-year contract with optional extensions)
Location : Hybrid About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Information Systems team. The successful candidate will lead business analysis efforts, develop requirements, test plans, and business communications for various projects, primarily focused on initiatives within Finance and Engineering.
This is a dynamic role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead business analysis and testing activities throughout the systems development life cycle
- Provide input on project scope, cost, and schedule
- Facilitate requirements sessions and develop comprehensive requirements documents
- Write business processes and procedures
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and engage with vendors for input on functionality and costs
- Lead the testing effort, including test strategy development and execution of test cases
- Coach business users on system usage and new processes
- Participate in scoping of requirements and releases
- Other duties as required
Requirements :
- Functional knowledge of ERP and / or planning budgeting and forecasting tools
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis, including requirements and testing
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience in stakeholder analysis and change management activities
- Excellent facilitation, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with combined work experience
- Knowledge of JDE E1, Sharepoint 2019, Clarity, and TM1 is desirable
- Experience in the Utilities industry is an asset
