Job description

Intermediate Business Analyst to work on transforming manufacturing operations by continuous improvement initiatives.

Location : Markham – % on site 5 days a week

This is a Permanent position.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure business requirements are translated into technical solutions that enhance efficiency and drive business growth.
  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Develop process maps and models to visualize and document business processes.
  • Understand business practices and procedures to design, develop and maintain automated workflow processes.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives, where you will proactively identify opportunities to enhance ERP functionalities.
  • Work with IT teams to design and propose technical solutions that meet business needs. Ensure solutions align with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure they deliver the expected benefits. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and systems.

Must Haves :

  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst
  • Visio, JIRA, Confluence
  • BI – Tableau OR Power BI
  • Nice to Have :

  • ERP – Any ERP system
  • CBAP
  • Experience working in a manufacturing industry.
