Job description
  • Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience : 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Tasks

    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans
    • Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
    • Complete and submit documentations for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance
    • Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans
    • Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems
    • Support for persons with disabilities

    • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
    • Applies accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities
    • Support for newcomers and refugees

    • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and / or refugees
    • Support for youths

    • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
    • Support for Indigenous people

    • Provides cultural competency training and / or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
    • Supports for visible minorities

    • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
    • Work Term : Permanent
