Job Title : Construction Administrator
Location : Edmonton, Alberta
Salary : $ 70k+ (Based on Experience)
Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Administrator to join a reputable and growing firm in Edmonton, Alberta.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating administrative tasks throughout the construction project lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Coordination : Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
- Documentation Management : Maintain and organize all project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and specifications.
- Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for projects - including contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
Facilitate effective communication to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Software : Knowledge with utilization of Revit and AutoCAD
- Compliance : Ensure all construction activities comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations. Monitor and enforce safety protocols on-site.
- Reporting : Prepare regular progress reports, including status updates, budget summaries, and project timelines. Present findings to senior management and clients.
- Problem-Solving : Address any issues or delays that arise during the construction process. Proactively identify potential problems and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
- Contract Administration : Review and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented.
Qualifications :
- Trades license within HVAC or pipe fitting
- 3-5 years experience in project / construction administration
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
