The Alberta group is experiencing tremendous growth, so it is looking to build out the team.
Ideal Technical Sales Specialist candidates will likely have many of the following attributes :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, business, technical diplomas or equivalent experience in relevant disciplinesNot essential, however a relevant professional designation (or eligible) would be an asset eg, PEng, CET, PTech, PLEng6 to 20+ years of technical sales & / or applications experience in industrial sectors (eg, E&P and midstream, oilsands or mining, pulp & paper) - coatings & / or wearables experience also consideredProven success in expanding markets and driving revenue growth in technical industries, and developing industry contacts eg, operations, maintenance, SCM and engineeringStrong technical acumen and ability to build relationships, along with exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skillsOpen to travel to sites and client locations (20-30% domestic and international travel)Solid MS Office skills and must have valid Canadian work authorization
