Our leading non-profit client is looking for a Bilingual Data Analyst (French / English) to join their team! This will be a full-time permanent position (35 hours / week) with one day a week on site.
The Data Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining data within the organization. This role supports various departments by ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and available in the form of reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
A key focus is on maintaining data integrity, ensuring reliable and quality data. The role involves data extraction, reporting, and database updates, along with troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies.
Responsibilities :
- Enter, maintain, and update data in the organization’s database.
- Clean and prepare data sets to meet specific project goals and deadlines.
- Process weekly electronic cost files, and handle database reconciliation.
- Monitor and analyze data quality, working closely with the Manager and team to correct discrepancies regularly.
- Generate and verify reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness, addressing any issues that arise.
- Quickly research and resolve data-related problems.
- Extract and distribute routine reports for internal or external clients.
- Handle ad-hoc report requests by extracting, analyzing, and presenting data, often using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Respond to internal or external queries regarding data and reports.
- Provide Parklane software training to both internal and external users, either in person, online, or via phone (approximately 10% of the role).
- Manage administrative tasks related to software applications, such as setting up user accounts, applying security settings, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate with clients and staff via phone or email to resolve discrepancies or respond to information requests.
- Create and update Excel spreadsheets, project plans, and training documents.
- Track and collect necessary business forms.
- Organize and prioritize incoming correspondence and workload.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience :
- Bilingual (English / French) a must
- Post-secondary diploma / degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in data management / data administrative roles.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, processing, or reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including VLOOKUP, formulas, and pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, even in a busy environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and respect for confidentiality policies.
- Ability to review and improve processes to meet department goals.
- Knowledge of, or strong ability to learn, the Parklane Software system is essential to the
- role.
- Familiarity with WSIB practices and Power BI / Tableau is a strong asset.
- Customer service experience, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Motivated, organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Open to change and able to adapt with a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional communication skills with tact, diplomacy, and flexibility in dealing with diverse stakeholders.
