The Bartender at our client Milestones Restaurant is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving high-quality beverages in a fast-paced casual upscale dining environment. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable personable and passionate about hospitality cocktails and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Milestones recipes standards and presentation guidelines

• Provide friendly attentive and professional service to guests at the bar and dining area

• Engage with guests make beverage recommendations and promote featured cocktails wines and menu items

• Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area at all times

• Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system

• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with local laws and company policies

• Assist with opening and closing duties including cash handling cleaning and restocking

• Collaborate with servers hosts and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

• Follow all health safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous bartending experience preferred (casual upscale or high-volume restaurant experience an asset)

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails spirits wine and beer

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure

• Friendly professional and team-oriented attitude

• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol

• Smart Serve or equivalent certification (required or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift and carry items up to approximately 25 lbs

• Manual dexterity for handling glassware tools and garnishes
