Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal Consultant AI / ML Solutions at Infoya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of AI / ML technologies, fostering innovation, and leading a team of experts to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions to our diverse client base.

The Principal Consultant will act as lead consultant while providing consulting services to clients, supporting presales activities, managing projects, and driving sales.

This role is primarily located in the Greater Toronto Area, but allows for flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the AI / ML practice, defining strategic direction, service offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate AI / ML solutions into broader client projects.
• Manage a team of AI / ML professionals, including hiring, training, and professional development.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI / ML projects, ensuring they meet client needs and align with industry standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI / ML trends and technologies, adapting offerings as necessary to maintain leadership in the field.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and proposing innovative AI / ML-driven solutions.
• Ensure the financial success of the AI / ML practice by managing budgets, forecasting resources, and overseeing project billing and profitability.
• Speak at conferences and workshops, establishing thought leadership in the AI / ML community.
• Drive the creation of whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts that highlight the firm’s expertise in AI / ML solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a consulting or technology environment.
• Proven track record of leading successful AI / ML projects from conception through implementation.
• Deep understanding of current AI / ML technologies and methodologies, with hands-on experience in machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical modeling.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Experience in client relationship management and business development in a consulting environment.
• Presales and Sales Skills : Ability to support presales activities and drive sales
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with executives, IT professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Relevant certifications and advanced degrees in AI / ML are a plus
