Position Summary
Premium Seating Sales Managers are part of a high-performing Sales, Marketing, Sponsorship & Operations team playing a leadership role in delivering some of the most memorable guest experiences at the Calgary Stampede. This role supports Stampede-time sales and guest experience delivery, with a particular focus on the high-profile Premium Seating & Restaurants (PSR) portfolio. Focused on building strong, senior-level client relationships, this role drives premium sales that support revenue growth and provide an outstanding guest experience throughout the 10-day Calgary Stampede.
From selling and marketing premium seating venues to corporate, group and general consumers, to working alongside the Food & Beverage teams to execute each detail, this role blends strategic sales leadership with experience design to achieve our goal of delivering the best western hospitality in the world.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :
- Understand and comply with all Calgary Stampede safety standards, competencies, policies and procedures
- Manage expectations of clients in various venues by creating new processes and procedures based on guest feedback
- Uphold a strong foundation and passion for sales and customer service to support the effective ramp up and opening of premium venues
- Long-term strategic planning and vision are essential to grow revenue and control costs from the premium venues through consideration of industry trends and Calgary Stampede Park development planning.
- Perform sales and customer service duties for existing and new clients in the five premium hosting venues (Infield Suites, Ranahans, 30X Saloon, Corona Skydeck and The Lazy S)
- Research, identify and prioritize prospective clients based on pre-established targets and sell to achieve revenue goals
- Create, develop and maintain customer databases and sales reports
- Manage fulfillment of client purchases including contracts, billing, F&B orders, digital tickets and special requests in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to owners and guests as part of the Premium Seating team
- Nurture beneficial relationships with industry stakeholders, other departments and Stampede volunteer committees
- Coordinate the pre-event details for the clients in each venue
- During our annual celebration, this role will support clients at Stampede Park as per programming requirements and all required coordination between internal departments such as Ticketing, Food & Beverage, Finance and Guest Services
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have worked in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications :
A minimum of 3 years’ experience with a proven track record in high-margin sales, customer service management or a related field (preferably in a hospitality setting)Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related disciplineMarketing and / or sales of high-end and high-margin hospitality productsKnowledge of current and developing premium products and competition on a global scaleAbility to apply judgement and tact to solve problems both operationally and strategicallyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with both stakeholders and many seasonal team membersA working knowledge of Salesforce and Momentus is an assetPhysical Demands and Working Conditions
