Our client,Purolator,is seeking a Licensed Red SealDiesel Mechanic to join their team in Dartmouth, NS. The ideal candidate will have a Heavy Duty Mechanics License and Class 1Driver's License with a clean driving history.

Job Title : Diesel Mechanic

Location : Dartmouth North, NS

Pay Range : $40.19 / hour

Job Description

• Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
• Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
• Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
• Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers
