Group Summary :

The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.

Job Responsibilities :

Immediate open position

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2nd year completed or in process of an Engineering Program

Mechanical / technical abilities / interests

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Competent with computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

(Optional) – Preferred but not required

Automotive manufacturing experience

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation $24.40 - $27.58 per hour based on years completed

Support project engineer / program managers in day to day issues

Assist in prototyping activities and builds

Assist in collecting data and analyzing

Generate reports and contribute to the development of APQP documentation

Coordinate packaging design and evaluation

Lead the development of product catalogues

Attend engineering meetings and design reviews

Support electrical and test lab activities

Utilize effective housekeeping practices

Performs all job functions abiding by the office / work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.

Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001##
