We currently have an opening for a Senior CNC Maintenance & Setup Technician on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the Senior CNC Maintenance & Setup Technician will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to the following :

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for complex firearm components using CAD / CAM software.
  • Set up and adjust CNC machines (mills and lathes) for production runs, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Inspect and verify finished parts against technical drawings and specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with CNC machines and programs to maintain production flow.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with design engineers, production managers, and other team members to achieve production goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of programming, setup sheets, and process adjustments.

Education and Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Setup Technician, preferably in the firearms industry or a related field.
  • Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, CNC Programming, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD / CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc.) and G-code programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
  • You must be able to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL)
