Their capabilities span concept design, CNC machining, fabrication, welding, painting, assembly, and testing.
They are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their engineering department and act as a key interface between customers, engineering, and operations. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality engineered solutions on time and on budget, while driving business growth through strong client engagement and internal execution. This position is ideal for a technically strong, hands-on leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in manufacturing engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to quality standards;
- Own engineering execution from RFQ through production handover, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and deliverables;
- Review and approve engineering designs, estimates, and quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness;
- Lead design reviews, project meetings, and represent engineering in production and management meetings;
- Provide technical leadership and support to operations and the shop floor to resolve design, quality, and manufacturability issues;
- Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and project management to maintain workflow and project momentum;
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and new opportunities.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;Minimum 7 years of proven experience in engineering management within a manufacturing environment;Strong technical background in mechanical engineering and custom manufacturing;Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide clear direction and accountability;Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with confidence to stand behind technical decisions;Strong communication skills, both internally and with customers;Experience with machining (horizontal and vertical milling, turning), welding, fabrication, jigs, and fixturing;Knowledge of machining fits, material selection, heat treatment, and manufacturing processes.Compensation and Benefits :
