Entuitive is looking for a Structural Contract Administrator, based remotely in Halifax, NS, primarily supporting a large-scale hospital project for a minimum of the next two years.
This role will also assist with the engineering side of projects and involves both office and field responsibilities. Take the opportunity to learn more about the structural engineering service at Entuitive.

While working remotely, the successful candidate will be supported by members of our Toronto based Contract Administration team.
The individual hired into this role will be expected to start working in Halifax by January 2025. An earlier start can also be accommodated.
What will you do?
- Conduct field reviews.
- Review shop drawings to ensure adherence to the contract documents
- Respond to RFI’s from the contractor to provide clarity and direction.
- Coordinate with the design team and issue Site Instructions.
- Attend regular site meetings with contractors, other consultants, and clients.
- Assist in budgeting, coordinating, and monitoring Contract Administration hours.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and clients
- Perform analysis and structural design where necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What do you need to succeed?
- A degree or diploma in civil engineering or related education specializing in structural.
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in building construction.
- Familiar with contract types including P3, design build and lump sum delivery methods
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work with people at all levels including project stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Working knowledge of construction materials and products used in building construction, with a focus on concrete and steel
- Must have a working knowledge and ability to use programs including Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and Excel
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
