Nothing captures the energy and culture of a school like a yearbook filled with photographs and student achievements. Each year we help schools capture these lasting memories by assisting with the production and marketing of their yearbook.

You will play a key role in driving the Edge brand and growing our yearbook channel by working collaboratively with our existing school service team to provide outstanding customer service, yearbook design & marketing support.

What you will focus on

Objectives

  • Represent the Edge brand and shared values of accountability to customers
  • Sell, Service and Renew yearbook programs and products in a designated territory. Conduct outreach to schools via email, phone, and when possible, in person meetings including : Assist in setting up yearbook accounts and contracts Deploy yearbook design software as required
  • Being an ongoing trusted specialist with your customers, utilizing Edge value-add programs to deliver solutions
  • Collaborate with Edge team to ensure best customer experience possible and corporate goals are met
  • Work closely with your reporting manager and Yearbook Manager to ensure personal and channel growth
  • Grow, maintain relationships and work effectively with school administrators, yearbook advisers, teachers, students, and parents
  • Communicate Edge Yearbook’s value proposition to customers based on an understanding of their current and future needs
  • Ensuring Sales, Service & renewals quotas are met
  • Attend regularly scheduled Sales and Service and technical training meetings
  • Develop and maintain professional and technical knowledge of our software and yearbook offerings
  • Manage a book of business based on annual sales

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound requests for information including :
  • Arrange compelling online presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers
  • Provide customer support for all yearbook software platforms and design questions
  • Set up yearbook account activation
  • Ensure schools are aware of perimeters before submission
  • Assist with the submission of yearbook content
  • Offer / coordinate webinar support & training
  • Provide regular contact and pipeline opportunity updates in eTrax.
  • Ensure that yearbook jobs are created and entered in the Company’s system correctly and timely
  • Provide status updates or escalations to the Yearbook Manager and report any concerns that may delay yearbook submissions
  • Arrange for uploading of portraits into the software
  • Populate invoicing details
  • Obtain contract with submission and delivery dates to submit to Yearbook Operations
  • Create job in eTrax
  • Send all welcome, reminder and follow up emails throughout the yearbook build process.

What we’re looking for

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy the independence of developing a business / territory
  • 2+ years of Sales and Service experience or educational background preferred
  • Prior teaching / yearbook advising experience is an asset
  • Graphic Design or Print Media experience is an asset
  • French / English bilingual an asset
  • Knowledge of Edge internal systems is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management
  • Desire to maintain & grow your book of business
  • Unafraid to work in a highly competitive market, driven primarily by relationships
  • A passion for helping schools, parents, and students capture and celebrate their important achievements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers via email and phone calls.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and clients’ needs simultaneously and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work well with a team, take initiative and direction
  • Must be organized and efficient with time management and can work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive environment and to adapt to change easily
  • Demonstrated problem resolution and customer service skills in working with clients
  • Comprehensive understanding of all Edge yearbook offerings
  • As part of the employment criteria, individuals need to meet company criminal check requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
