Regulatory Affairs Manager
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to manage, and drive the company’s regulatory department.

What we are looking for :
- Experience monitoring regulatory agencies and publications.
- Build and maintain of the packaging / labelling databases.
- Create and review artwork (new and existing products, all brands) for regulatory and language compliance in the primary target countries / jurisdictions.
- Ensuring all government, internal, certifying-agency requirements are met for any claims made for the products.
- Create overall regulatory strategy and implement plans for CFIA.
- Work with Quality team and the company’s SOP, GMP, HACCP, regulatory and quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Continual assessment of existing compliance management systems.
- Create and update New Product Assessments for Canadian Regulatory compliance in a timely manner.
- Provide support to write SDS and labels that correctly reflect requirements under WHMIS and other requirements.
Experience and qualifications we are looking for :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food or Nutrition Science, or a related subject required
- Strong knowledge of methodologies of regulatory affairs in the food manufacturing sector
- Working knowledge of regulatory processes in the USA and Canada
