Job description

Select People Solutions is hiring Production Technician on behalf of our agricultural client. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in hands-on, fast-paced work environments.

Compensation & Hours :

The rate of pay will be $20 - $23 / hr.

Full-time, 40 hours / week with opportunities for overtime

Might involve rotating shifts

Position Summary :

Perform conditioning activities such as cleaning, sizing, treating, packaging, palletizing, wrapping, and sampling

Assist with shipping, receiving, warehousing, and interplant movement

Safely operate forklifts to handle bulk and bagged product

Carry out general repair tasks and minor preventative maintenance as directed

Manage inventory, rework, and documentation across production areas

Ensure compliance with Work Instructions and the facility Quality Plan

Complete accurate records related to safety, quality, production, inventory, and grower reporting

Maintain clean, organized work areas and support a safe workplace culture

Required Qualifications :

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with dependable transportation

Steel-toe boots and work gloves required

Strong focus on safety and keen attention to detail

Positive, adaptable attitude and team-oriented mindset

Comfortable using computers for data entry and tracking

High School Diploma

Reliable attendance history

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods

Bonus Points For :

Valid forklift ticket

Knowledge of Production Agriculture

Experience in seed cleaning / Handling, warehouse work, agriculture, manufacturing or industrial environments
