We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Aide to join our dental practice. This is an entry level position. Training will be provided. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, managing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to explore a career in dentistry and potentially seek distance learning opportunities to become a registered dental assistant. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting where infection control, aseptic technique, and accurate medical documentation are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric treatments (no intra oral skills)
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained
• Manage patient records using Dentrix; ensure accurate medical documentation and coding
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control guidelines
