The Opportunity

Reporting into the Transformation Office the AI Strategy & Data Science Lead offers deep technical leadership domain expertise and strategic direction driving the development and implementation of solutions to meet evolving business needs and strategies.

This role is instrumental in advancing design architecture and enhancing technology capabilities in line with industry advancements. It also presents a unique opportunity to shape the future build impactful solutions and have meaningful influence on the organizations direction. Additionally the AI Strategy & Data Science Lead serves as a key advisor to senior leaders providing guidance and governance to technology teams and business areas across the organization.

What Youll Do

• Recognized as an internal and external expert in specific domain(s) within the organization; spends the majority of their time on technical issues
• Sets the direction and oversees the work of other IT professionals as assigned on complex highly-visible projects of significant profile strategic importance and enterprise impact to the TC Energy
• Recognized as an internal expert within the broad data science field and may have specialized expertise within multiple domains
• Provides consultative and strategic guidance to business partners
