Overview
Mechanical Engineer role at Allnorth Americas. Based in Prince George, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of industrial engineering designs and documents related to process plant facilities located throughout North America. You will work under the direction of a senior engineer and collaborate with other engineers, designers and field service staff on process plant related design projects. The candidate is expected to work with project teams and individual engineers to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets.
Responsibilities

- Work under the direction of a senior engineer to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years relevant experience in planning, designing and installing plant improvements in an industrial setting. Experience in consulting engineering is preferredRegistered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British ColumbiaPrevious experience with conceptual design, front-end and detailed engineering of process plants, ideally in the Pulp & Paper sectorFamiliarity with pressure piping codes, stress analysis and stress analysis software is an assetExcellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplined environmentTechnical competency and strong attention to detailWhat’s in it for you?
