The IT Infrastructure & Network Support Specialist is a technical role responsible for providing end-user IT support while also supporting and maintaining the organization’s network and core IT infrastructure . This role bridges frontline IT support and backend network operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across the organization.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and technically strong, with experience supporting users while also troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues.
Duties and Responsibilities :
IT Support / End-User Services
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for end users (onsite)Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, PDAs and operating system issues.Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requestsSupport printers, peripherals, AV equipment, and meeting roomsLog, track, and resolve incidents and requests using the IT ticketing systemEscalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership until resolutionDocument solutions, procedures, and user guidesNetwork and Infrastructure Support :
Monitor and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN environmentsTroubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and access issuesSupport network devices including switches, firewalls, access points, and routersAssist with network changes, upgrades, and documentationSupport server and infrastructure environments (on-prem and / or cloud)Assist with backup, patching, and system maintenance activitiesWork with vendors and service providers for escalations and outagesFollow change management and security best practicesSecurity & Compliance :
Support endpoint security, MFA, and access control policiesAssist with vulnerability remediation and security incidentsEnforce IT policies and acceptable use standardsParticipate in audits and compliance-related activities as requiredOperational & Process Responsibilities :
Adhere to defined SLAs and OLAsParticipate in incident, problem, and change management processesContribute to continuous improvement of IT servicesSupport after-hours or on-call rotations when requiredRequired Competencies :
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field3–6 years of combined IT support and network experienceStrong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networkingExperience with :Microsoft 365Active DirectoryTCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNsWired and wireless networksCustomer-service mindset with strong communication skillsPlease note that you will have to complete training in our Ontario Distribution Center for two weeks .
