We’re hiring Vehicle Handlers in Windsor, ON!
Responsibilities :
Inspect vehicles and report any damages using tablets or handheld scanners
Safely drive vehicles within the compound and on public roadways to assigned locations
Assist with preparing vehicle loads for shipment by rail and truck
Follow all company and customer safety standards, including PPE, speed limits, and spacing requirements
Work collaboratively in a team environment and assist other departments as needed
Train new or temporary staff when required
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Ontario G driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles
Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday, and 1 week of afternoon shifts per month (for part-time roles)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and able to stand or walk for long periods
Able to lift up to 50lbs and use basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets)
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Additional Requirements :
Clean Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Background Check (completed by company)
Successful completion of pre-placement medical examination
