Nos attentes

Dans le cadre de votre poste de spécialiste du génie de la fabrication, vous serez responsable de développer les méthodes de fabrication des composants de moteur P&WC (Turbines, compresseurs, chambre à combustion, etc.

Vous aurez la chance de collaborer au sein d’une équipe d’une soixantaine d’agents de méthode, de programmeurs NC, de spécialistes de procédés spéciaux et de spécialiste de l’inspection CMM.

Vous serez membre d’une équipe qui a pour responsabilité de faire du rêve de l’ingénierie, une réalité dans l’usine. En effet, l’équipe a pour point de départ la conception reçue de l’ingénierie, puis définie les méthodes de fabrication et choisi les machines qui seront utilisées dans l’usine.

Ainsi, vos tâches au quotidien seront :

Faire une revue de la conception de l’ingénierie pour en valider la faisabilité d’un point de vue de fabrication de la pièce.

Définir la stratégie de fabrication (procédés utilisées, séquencement, etc.).

Commander l’outillage requis, collaborer avec l’équipe de conception d’outil.

Rédiger les gammes de fabrication.

Programmation des Machine NC.

Support technique aux lignes de production.

Participer à l’achat d'équipement de fabrication.

Gestion de projet.

Ce dont vous avez besoin pour réussir

Le candidat que nous recherchons est, comme nous, passionné par la fabrication.

Il est un bon joueur d’équipe, il a à cœur l’amélioration continue et est à l’aise dans un environnement rapide et sous pression.

Une formation académique en génie mécanique ou en fabrication aéronautique au niveau collégial ou universitaire est nécessaire (ou expérience équivalente).

Une expérience comme agent de méthode ou programmeur NC est un atout important.

Une bonne maitrise du français est nécessaire.

Une bonne connaissance de la langue anglaise, à l’écrit et à l’oral, est requise pour ce poste compte tenu des besoins opérationnels de l’Employeur et des personnes avec lesquelles le candidat sera appelé à interagir.

Our expectations

As a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing methods for P&WC engine components (turbines, compressors, combustion chambers, etc.

You'll have the chance to work as part of a team of some sixty methods agents, NC programmers, special process specialists and CMM inspection specialists.

What your day-to-day will look like?

You'll be part of a team responsible for making engineering's dream a reality on the factory floor. The team starts with the design received from engineering, then defines the manufacturing methods and selects the machines to be used in the plant.

Your day-to-day tasks will include :

• Review engineering design to validate feasibility from a component manufacturing point of view;
• Define manufacturing strategy (processes used, sequencing, etc.);
• Order required tooling, collaborate with the tool design team;
• Write work instructions for machinists;
• NC programming;
• Technical support for production lines;
• Participate in the purchasing of manufacturing equipment;

The candidate we're looking for is, like us, passionate about manufacturing.

He's a good team player, committed to continuous improvement, and at ease in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Academic training in mechanical engineering or aeronautical manufacturing at college or university level is required (or equivalent experience).

Experience as a method agent or NC programmer is a strong asset.

A good knowledge of French is required.

Good knowledge of the English language, written and oral, is required for this position taking into account the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will be called upon to interact.
