Description
Our government client seeks the services of an Editor / Technical Writer on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
- Significant (at least 5 years) and recent (1 years from date of contract) experience working within a federal government setting.
- Must have experience with parliamentary planning and reporting - Departmental Performance Report; Report on Plans and Priorities;
- Management Accountability Framework, etc.
- Must have significant (at least 5 years) experience working as an editor.
- Experience preparing / reviewing presentations, decks and briefing notes for line management and senior executives in a federal government setting.
- Must possess excellent verbal skills - to be assessed in interview
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes. Adobe, Visio, html are assets.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, organize workload and realign priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills - to be assessed via Reference Check
