Overview
The E‑Commerce Manager is responsible for owning and optimizing the Rennaï’s e‑commerce channel end‑to‑end. This role leads online merchandising, site experience, content execution, and performance optimization to drive revenue growth, improve conversion, and deliver a best‑in‑class customer journey. Working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Creative, Operations, and Technology teams, the E‑Commerce Manager ensures the online store is commercially effective, operationally sound, and aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy & Performance
- Own day‑to‑day and seasonal performance of the Shopify storefront, with accountability for revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and overall site health
- Translate business goals into actionable e‑commerce and merchandising strategies
- Analyze performance data and customer behavior to inform optimization and trading decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, navigation, and on‑site engagement
Shopify Platform Ownership
Manage all aspects of the admin, including product setup, collections, navigation, pricing, promotions, tags, and meta fieldsEnsure site functionality, content accuracy, and platform best practices are consistently maintainedPartner with Tech and external partners on enhancements, updates, and app integrationsStay current on releases and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and performanceMerchandising, Content & UX
Lead digital merchandising strategy across homepage, collections, PDPs, and landing pagesEnsure product content, imagery, and storytelling are optimized for conversion and aligned with brand standardsOversee site merchandising calendars tied to launches, promotions, and seasonal momentsContinuously evaluate UX and customer journey to reduce friction and improve discoveryCampaigns, Launches & Promotions
Own e‑commerce execution for product launches, drops, and promotional eventsPartner with Marketing to ensure site readiness for traffic‑driving campaignsOversee promotional setup, sale logic, and pricing accuracyEnsure flawless execution during key trading periodsInventory, Operations & Cross‑Functional Leadership
Partner with Operations and Buying to align inventory, assortment, and online availabilityMonitor stock levels and adjust merchandising strategies to optimize sell‑throughLead cross‑functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution across teamsManage timelines, priorities, and workflows in a fast‑paced environmentAnalytics, CRO & Optimization
Track and report on key e‑commerce KPIs using analytics and related toolsLead conversion rate optimization initiatives and A / B testing effortsUse insights to drive continuous improvements across PDPs, collections, and promotionsSupport ROAS and acquisition efficiency through strong on‑site performanceExperience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in e‑commerce, digital merchandising, or online retailProven hands‑on experience managing a storefront (preferably Shopify)Strong understanding of e‑commerce KPIs, CRO, UX best practices, and digital merchandisingExperience partnering with Marketing, Creative, Operations, and Technology teamsAnalytical and data‑driven with a strong commercial mindsetHighly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skillsBonus Points
