Senior Programmer Analyst (Power Platform)

Job Description :
Our Public Sector client is seeking Power Platform Developer(s) / Programmer Analyst(s) with expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
This contract role involves designing, developing, and implementing BPM applications, supporting system integration, and leading technical upgrades.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience across multiple projects, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and technical standards.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications :
- Canadian Federal Government Secret Security Clearance (10 + years residency in Canada)
- Recent experience working on public-facing Canadian sites and working with high-quality user experience (within the past 3 years)
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) development experience
- MUST have experience in web development and a proven track record in building PowerApps model-driven applications.
- 5+ years of BPM solution development within the last 8 years.
- A minimum of 5 implementation / upgrade projects related to Power Platform or Dynamics 365 within the last 5 years.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience integrating Dynamics 365 with various platforms such as M365 , SAP , Azure , and OpenText Content Server (e.g., GCDOCS).
- Must possess advanced expertise in developing client-server extensions for the Microsoft Power Platform , including Common Data Services , Model-Driven Apps , Canvas Apps , Power Automate , Custom Controls , Custom Connectors , and Azure Functions
- Strong background in system integration, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365.
- Design and implement BPM solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs and develop solutions.
- Led and contributed to at least 5 projects implementing or upgrading Power Platform / BPM technologies, with each project lasting 6+ months within the past 5 years.
- Develop technical specifications, configuration, and custom code for solutions.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and manage system integration efforts.
