You will track all prototypes in the field and communicate regularly with farmers who are using the equipment in North America to ensure regular maintenance is conducted. You will help to troubleshoot issues that arise with the equipment by providing vehicle operators with service and operational information and help troubleshoot and repair failed equipment. You will work closely with R&D Shop personnel, mechanical designers, testing, software engineers and vehicle operators to assist with product quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties :
- Provide equipment operators with technical assistance and service information
- May troubleshoot equipment on site or coordinate with the R & D Supervisor to send out the appropriate repair personnel
- Compile and report on various prototype activities such as logging machine hours, failures, machine maintenance and documenting modifications or fixes in detail
- Review and record failure claims, report and track all failures issues.
- Compile feedback reported by operator(s) and communicate with relevant department for resolutions
- Assist and provide support for testing, R&D shop or Engineering team if needed
- Ability to be on call during peak season for after service calls from Dealers
- International travel may be required
