Position Overview:

Target Land Surveying has an opening for a Senior Survey Party Chief based in the Langley/Surrey area. You will have the chance to work on different types of projects and grow your career through participation in our training and development programs.

General Responsibilities:

• Completes legal field surveys and works closely with the Project Manager to ensure all client objectives are met.
• Provides necessary documentation to office staff including any field notes, computations, and other survey data.
• Communicates effectively with team members and ensures tasks are completed on time.
• Performs all health and safety duties as identified in the company's safety procedures.
• Skilled with the use of survey equipment (GPS/GNSS Rovers, Total Stations, Locators, etc.) and ensures all company equipment and vehicles are properly operated and maintained.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Geomatics or related discipline as well as previous survey experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract
• Physical fitness - party chief's work outside in tough conditions, often carrying equipment long distances.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in the construction surveying
• Line Locating experience (as asset)
• Advanced Pilot (an asset)
• 3D Scanner experience (an asset)
• Valid Safety Certificates (i.e. H2S, First Aid, CSTS, Wildlife Awareness)

Wage Range: $33-40 per hour based
