Role Description

Reporting to both the Project Manager and Area Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the Project Management team with a variety of project functions.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and submitting project documentation, supporting the costing and billing process, and completing site visits and observations to track progress and subsequently prepare and submit project reports.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Support project managers in preparing billing on a regular and compliant basis;
  • Attend job walk-throughs to identify project start-up requirements;
  • Participate in site visits to track progress and complete observations;
  • Liaise with the site supervisor and clients;
  • Review project drawings and specifications;
  • Assist in making changes to project scope, schedules, and costs;
  • Assist in risk analyses during project planning phase;
  • Process and issue change orders as directed by the Project Manager;
  • Assist with establishing project budgets, and implementing cost controls;
  • Prepare schedules using Inflector’s project management software.

Qualifications include :

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working as a Project Coordinator, preferably in a comparable industry;
  • Post Secondary Education in Project Administration, Project Management, or a related field would be considered a strong asset;
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Enthusiastic team player with a can do’ attitude;
  • Prior field experience would be considered an asset.
